ABOUT
Marta Moskova (b. 1999) is a Bulgarian designer and maker with a fascination for metalwork, glass arts and fine craftsmanship.
She derives inspiration from the natural world and its phenomenons. Another big influence for her are the fantastical landscapes and mystical creatures that have resided in her imagination since she was a child.
She translates her Universe into the real world in the form of collectible objects, sculptural furniture and wearables.
Marta isn’t afraid to breathe fire, dust and smoke in her quest of mastering the Elements. Her creative journey revolves around exploring craft not only as a cultural, but also as a spiritual practice.
Being in direct contact with the material and creating an intimate bond with it through a meditative process of working are main points of her design methodology. Through touching, feeling and building she learns about the world that surrounds her and evolves into a master of materiality.
She currently works out of her studio in Sofia, Bulgaria, creating designs that capture the transformative power of the Elements.
